Help - Amazon - how to stop the shipping notices!!!

So I ordered a bunch of stuff on amazon for our 8 year old. I archived the orders so he would not be able to see the orders if he went into my account - he has a kindle and we share an account .I thought I was set until he came downstairs with his eyes bugging out of his head as frigging Amazon has notices on the account saying that XY and Z are shipping this week..he was freaked out as he thought by somehow looking at these things he somehow ordered them!! I kind of distracted him but I need to get these stupid notifications off my account - anyone know how?

I am sick and do not have the patience or energy to call amazon.

I think you need to set up a kids account for him for the Kindle. That should probably fix it. I know I saw a kids account option in my settings one day.

my kids have their own profiles on their kindles as well as my profile, but mine is password protected.

We set up kids accounts so our kids don't see those sorts of things.

Go into your amazon account settings. There is a section about notifications. Turn them off
