Shoes for dress pants

I need help. I recently lost a ton of weight and have no idea how to dress myself.


I wear a ton of dress pants to work, before I would just wear old lady black shoes with them. Well I don't want to anymore. But I cant seem to find anything to wear with them besides heels. I purchased a ton of heels, but would love another option.

Any suggestions?

There are so many nice flats out too. Or even a wedge. Depending on the pants you can wear a bootie too.

I don't wear flats. What I have worn with dress pants (on the rare occasions I wear pants) is pumps, wedges or even a nice shoe boot

I do wear flats but like shoe kind flats once in a while. Otherwise I cannot wear a very high heel. I do wear a 2.5 type heel. I do need to walk in them at work showing houses. I am looking at getting a ankle type bootie/heel that I can wear with thin socks (it get pretty cold in the winter wit heels) but have not found one I like yet.

To add. Flats are hard to find that look dressy enough for dress pants but not grandmaish.

I wear heels, but not regular pumps - usually chunkier heels and more coverage on top, sort of like these
