Need an idea for a day trip
The anniversary of my moms passing is coming up and I want to get a change of scenery. Something fun for us and the kids (2.5 and 4.5).
It’s on a Saturday. Driving distance.
Mystic and do the aquarium.
Norwalk aquarium
Something indoors....any ideas?

There isn't much else to do besides the aquarium in Norwalk. I would do Mystic.

I’m open to anywhere in driving distance. The CT options were just the first things I thought of.

I still think Mystic would be my first choice. You could have breakfast when you get there, go to the aquarium in the morning, have lunch and then visit all the shops in town or go to Olde Mistik Village.

Grand cascades or minerals resorts in Vernon, nj. They are rotating on groupon and perfect for an overnight. They are a great change of scenery.

What is their to do here with kids? Mine are 2nd grade, kindergarten and 2.5.
With the groupon it is so reasonable. Just want to make sure they wouldnt be bored.

It is a great place!! The pools are great and so is food!

What about the Philadelphia area? We loved the aquarium and children's museum in Camden, and please touch museum is right on the other side of the river, and Crayola is there. It's only 2.5 hours away, and the food...
