Girls Day in the City
My girlfriends and I want to go to the city for the day/night in June. We did it a couple of years ago and TRYING to make it an annual thing... LOL Last time we had lunch at Heartland for beers and snacks then a show and dinner at Dos Caminos. Want to do something different, but still fun without breaking the bank We've all seen a lot of shows between us so something even off Broadway is fine.
Thoughts? THanks!

How about a walking food tour or a wine tasting tour. I have done both and it is fun way to hang out and try new things. And comedy show for evening.

Check out Corkbuzz. They do wine tasting classes. Or what about a cooking class. Check out ICE or Rustic Cooking. Both are super fun.

We do a few times a year with my group of friends since children. We love the Kimberly hotel. The smith midtown is right near by and brunch is amazing. The Kimberly has a great rooftop bar with great views and it’s IN your hotel. We love it there bc they’re huge one bedrooms with kitchenettes. We mostly go out for brunch or lunch, then light dinner with apps. We’ve done a blow out bar before but never really a spa day.

I did this a few years ago, at the Met. It was a lot of fun!

Walking the Chelsea Highline (if it's nice) and checking out Chelsea market?
My girlfriends and I did an overnight in the city a couple of years ago and went to a singalong piano bar in the village, which was very fun.

You could try "eat with" for a different experience. Basically home chefs host you at their house/apt for dinner, it's BYOB usually. Www.eatwith.com
Another suggestion is Aire spa ancient baths. Haven't been yet, but I hear good things.

I would look on Groupon/Living Social/Etc. I would do something like a spa experience, go to Bite Lip Lab and make your own lipstick. Or even Milk Bar now does cooking classes. i would go and make a huge cake and cake balls to bring home.
