A friend of mine sells and is constantly posting Before/After results and I'm like . The results all seem to be great. For those of you who use it, is it as great as it looks?

I only tried the Lash Boost b/c I saw the before and afters as well and my eyelash were a disaster after my extensions. It burned my eyes!! Literally the next morning, i couldn't keep my eyes open. I used castor oil instead and saw better results and it didn't kill my eyes. For the price, it was a waste for me, but I only tried one product. That's it for me.

I wont ever buy anything that has to be bought through a "consultant". Just the idea of it annoys me.
If their products were SO amazing, everyone would use them. You can find many comparable products for much less.

Re: rodan and fields
I only used the Lash Boost.
At first I didn't see a big difference. I actually canceled my next shipment for it because I didn't think it was worth the money. But as I got closer to the end of the tube I saw amazing results. My eyelashes were so short it took loads of mascara to give them length. I tried brand after brand after brand. Now, I don't even need mascara. I just use it to give my lashes some color because they are so light. I will absolutely buy it again.

I use the redefine scrub and it keeps away my cystic acne. As a matter of fact I keep it in the shower and my teenage son started using it and it cleared up his acne as well. I also use the lash boost and the eye cream. Love them all. Also that new brightening eye stuff does help with the bags

Re: rodan and fields
My consultant sold me on using the lash boost for eyebrows and it did nothing. I then tried returning it and was a few days after the 60-day return period...so it was a complete waste.
I know people who had similar burning reactions to the lash boost.
I do use a repair serum that I think is pretty good. It comes in blue caplets and is $$$$$.

I use the lash boost. My lashes are so long. I also just started using the moisturizer. Not sure what it’s called. My mom bought it for me. I have such dry skin and it’s actually made a difference in just a few days.
It’s expensive and not what I would normally spend my money on but my sis sells it.

Re: rodan and fields
I am a consultant (not super active - I do it more for the discount for myself).
I do know people personally who have had some pretty dramatic results. Others none at all. Like any product out there it works for some and not for all and it is most definitely not a miracle in a jar (but nothing is).
Personally, my results are not dramatic however, I think for me it has been more preventative.
If you have questions I would be happy to answer them honestly.

I love the eye cream. I used to have terrible, dark circles under my eyes and the RF cream makes them completely disappear. I’ve used the sunscreen too and really liked it, but it’s $$.

I sell it BECAUSE i love it.
I ran as fast away from becoming a consultant...until I tried it.
Give it a chance. It's 100% money back guarantee.
I have about 25 ladies who buy from me and they all are in love with it.

I'm surprised it didn't work for your eyeborws. My mom has none on the sides (due to age) and they all grew in from using it.

Re: rodan and fields
I’ve tried 2 different products. Both did absolutely nothing and I thankfully got my money back. My SIL tried another one for fine lines around eyes - nada.
I have better results from the philosophy line I get at Sephora

Re: rodan and fields
I'm going to be honest. I don't see wow results from anything. I feel like if you really want to rid yourself of a fine line or wrinkle you need a filler. From a doctor. And a needle. Nothing you put on top of your skin is going to fix anything that dramatically. Having said that I do take care of my skin with quality products because I feel like it's maybe helping prevent new stuff from forming. But once it's there...its there.

I love that microdermabrasion abrasion paste... and the eye cream is great for puffy eyes. I used one for sagging undereye that did nothing... I guess it has to be customized for each person.

Is there a chemical that causes the burning? How does EWG rate it?

I sell it because I love the prodcuts. If you have questions, not pushing sales, just questions. Feel free to ask. I don't care who you buy from or if you choose to be a consultant yourself to get products, I am willing to answer questions.

I was surprised too!! I ended up getting microblading instead and now they are zero effort. It's awesome.

I agree.
I just don’t think any product works. I don’t use products because I’ve been blessed with young skin and have no wrinkles at 40. However, this is all an industry. Women are a good market and they are eating this stuff up. Use a moisturizer and that is it. I also think R+F is a scam.

I was watching Shark Tank the other night and they were pitching some skin care product to the sharks and the sharks were all surprised at how expensive the product was selling for. One of the sharks said that the beauty industry has some of the highest margins of ANY industry because women are willing to pay anything for the promise of looking younger, better, prettier, etc. Vanity is a very very big selling point.
Years ago I had a boyfriend in college who worked in a warehouse for a company that sold beauty products and his boss used to say- they will pay anything for our stuff because we are selling them "hope"
And it's true. You want it to work so badly so you pay. I'm guilty of it myself.
But you are right. Use a good moisturizer. And SUNSCREEN. That is key. I wish I could tell my 20 year old self that! I slather the SPF on now like it's going out of style.

Sunscreen is key!
My friends and I used to go to the beach when we were 16 up to our 20s or so. They would laugh because I was so white and not tanned. I put on sunscreen every time (had a family member die from melanoma). And you know what? They all have wrinkles! I kind of joke about it now with them, but I don’t think they find it that funny, lol.
Then again I can drink like a fish and smoke occasionally. It will catch up with me, I guess.
I also think genetics is a big part of this. That’s something you can’t change with a skin cream.
