Doctor recommendation
Hello everyone. My husband and I have been trying to conceive since September with no success.. I'm 35 years old and he's 39. We are starting to think we should speak to a specialist. Can anyone recommend doctors in Nassau county? Thank you.

Doctor recommendation
You will get different responses depending on whether people had a positive outcome or not.
Are you OOP or using insurance? That is a factor.
What do you need for monitoring hours? Where are you located?
There are tons of factors that you need to consider and it doesnt hurt to see a couple of them to get a feel for the facility to see if its for you.
I have been successful with RSNY but its not a popular choice in the group right now. Its a large practice and you do not get the individual attention that some may need plus you need to advocate for yourself. I know the drill there so I never saw it as an issue for me plus the hours and location were ideal.

Doctor recommendation
Dr. Palter at Gold Coast IVF! Located in Woodbury. Very nice doctor, the office staff are fantastic and they are very accommodating and flexible!

Dr. Kreiner - LI IVF. I just met with him on Friday for a consultation to start trying for my 2nd. I really liked him and the whole office in Melville but you can go to an office closer to you. I think there is one in Lake Success.
For my first I went to RSofNY in Mineola and it worked for me at the time but I wouldn't go back there after my experiences there. My SIL is going to RSofNY now but she goes to the Stony Brook office.

The only thing different for me is that I was with RSofNY for a few years with zero success and ended up finding success elsewhere (Dr Braverman). Despite this I am not in the anti rsofny club and would still recommend them in certain situations.

Dr. Palter at Gold Coast IVF- hands down, the best office ever! Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses and the doctor are all great. Very individualized care and treatment. Can't say enough about them.

Thank you all for you responses. Sorry I didn't post sooner...i did not have notifications on and forgot about my post. I did recently go to Long Island IVF in Melville and was very happy with my experience so far. We just bought a house and I'm starting my nursing program....so we are going to hold off for a few months before we really start trying again.
