I need just a trim, am I setting myself up for a disaster?
I’m on a budget and my hair guy I have used for years is way out of my budget right now so I was contemplating a lemon tree
Am I crazy?!?
TIA

I always say- it's not the Salon, it's the stylist.
You can get a great stylist at a Lemon Tree and a terrible one at a more expansive salon.
Some Lemon Trees are better than others.
Where are you located?

I always go to Lemon Tree to get my hair cut, but I have hair that is all one length. Hard to screw it up!

OK, I'm not familiar with any in that area.
I do know by me one is awful and the other one gets great reviews.

Forgot about this place! Is it in the Petco shppping center? If yes, I know it! Maybe tomorrow I’ll check it out. Thanks!

Just checked and yes! That’s the one I could not for the life of me remember the name of! Thanks again

Just got 8 inches off at Lemon Tree in Massapequa on Broadway. Renee cut my hair and gave me the best haircut I've had in a long time.

The Merge in N. Bellmore (on Jerusalem, next to Bellmore Bagel Cafe, just east of Bellmore Rd) is very affordable and they do a good job.

I used to go to higher end salons in the area... Red Door, Metromodes, etc. But I was paying a TON and I didn't think the cut or color was any better from those places than what I get now. But I have long layered hair so it's not super complicated. But at The Merge, I've gotten bangs, grown out bangs, gotten highlights, single process, etc. They do inexpensive blowouts, too.

I use Megan at The Merge.

I got a blow out here once because I couldn’t get in with my regular girl and I nearly died when they said it was $15 (my hair is long and heavy). Not as good as my usual stylist at De La Mer on Merrick road but for $15 I was quite happy!

The woman who cuts my hair works at a Lemon Tree. She is the only person I will go to (in fact I have an appointment later today). I've used other ladies at the same location who did not do a good job on my hair. I think it depends on the stylist.

I have never had a problem at lemon tree. Have always gotten great cuts there. I think people look down on it because it's a no frills kind of place bit I've never had any complaints...
