Hi all, I am looking to do a wine tour/tasting for my birthday in July. If any has any great recommendations you can share that would be really helpful. This would be my first time visiting an official winery. I did look into North Fork Tours so far, if anyone has feedback on this company that would be great.

For actual tours, I have used liwinetours.com and last year we did the north fork wine wagon which is a lot of fun. To me, the downside of the tours is that you are limited to which vineyards you can go to. Many of them do not accept tours anymore other than the larger commercial ones. That being said, we had a terrible experience at Pindar in October and I will never go back there again.
If you do it yourself, personally, I like Sherwood House, Corey Creek, Bedell, Palmer, Osprey's Dominion and Jason's.

It’s better if you find a few designated drivers and head out on your own. The better wineries don’t allow tour groups.
We’re out there constantly, and our favorites are Bedell, Kontakosta, Paumanok, Clovis Point, and Raphael.

Paumanok is my absolute favorite! So charming, cozy, and their wine is amazing!
