Good price for flight to disney?
Through expedia for 3 seats $811 total (i have older kids so dont need seat selection if we dont get it). Would pay $25 for 1 checked bag for all 3 of us.
9/7 depart 6am NS from JFK on jetblue
9/11 depart 945 am NS to JFK
We only have 4 day passes so would be in park Friday (after we arrive), sat, sun, mond.

I paid $100 each way with Southwest. It was about $850 for 4 of us and 2 bags checked per person.

What NY airport?
Good times of day?
Islip Airport, Non Stop
1st flight was 5pm on a Friday (but they did have early morning flights)
Returning flight was 7pm on a Saturday.

I think you are probably going to need to check more than one bag for 3 people (girls!), for that many days to be honest. I would probably plan on checking 2. It's brutally hot still in September, so you might be changing clothes more often than you think!
I think the airfare price is decent since it's a holiday weekend and everyone will be going to Disney!

Good price for flight to disney?
that sounds decent to me. We live in NJ and are flying out of newark in early december... we paid $850 total for 4 of us, on united- i think that includes checked bags, too... but we'll only be there 4 nights so i'm thinking between each of us bringing a carry on, we'll probably only need one checked bag either way...

we're getting 2 day park hopper passes. We don't get there until 4:30 PM So
Arrival Day: no parks since we get there late, just dinner at the resort
Day 1: park hopping
DAY 2: Park hopping
DAY 3- hang around the resort pool all day. then we have tickets for the Mickey Christmas party in magic kingdom that night, so that will be our park time for that day
DAY 4: head home around noon 
we go every year pretty much, so its mainly to see the christmas stuff, since we usually go in late August, so we haven't seen any of the christmas stuff at all.
i would think if you're there by 10, you could go into a park that first day! especially since your kids are older so they can probably handle being tired from the early flight better than younger kids HAHA my boys are 7 and 4. last year when they were 6 and 3, we took an early flight and pretty much went right into the parks when we got there.... it worked out fine. so i'm sure with older kids it would be good, too... have fun!!
