Deoderant - 10 yr old

So my son will be 10 in a few months. Do I wait till he starts stinking before letting him use it? right now he doesn't have stinky BO even when sweats. He's done Spartan races and is fine.

However, my DH doesn really stink either. Is it something that a kid starts using at a certain age?

I am the opposite, if I sweat I smell like an onion, so when I was at the age everyone knew it was time.

I think I'd wait until he starts to need it.
As soon as you get a whiff of anything, get it for him.
Until then, let him skip it. No need to use chemicals until you need it.
And like you said, some people NEVER need it so maybe he just is one of those lucky ones!
