Question about public parks in Centerreach, NY

I am planning a weekday visit to Middle Country Public Library in Centerreach with three kids ages 5, 3 and 1. Looking for a good place to bring sandwiches for lunch after we visit the library. I found Percy B Raynor Memorial Park 2 miles from the library. Has anyone ever been there? I don't care too much about playgrounds...I care more about a clean place with preferably shaded picnic tables and a clear (indoor) bathroom.

I believe that's a town of Brookhaven park. Not sure, because that's not my town, but it might require a resident parking pass. Maybe someone else will know.

Raynor Park is just an open park, no playground I don’t even remember if they have picnic tables there. It is usually used as an athletic practice field, go to cenereach Park/ pool on Hawkins ave they have a few picnic tables. Other good parks are Heritage park in Mt Sinai, not too far from there it’s very nice there! :) I live over in port Jeff sta- my go to parks are heritage park, diamond in the pines on 112

The Middle Country library actually has a spot where you can eat lunch, if that’s your sole purpose for going to the park. They have a patio with fountains and sculptures and a wishing well, and there are a few tables to sit at. I’ve packed my kids sandwiches and/or snacks and we’ve eaten there.
