crayons for pre-k
Ok this might be a stupid question, but, my daughter will be in "pre-school" this year at her daycare. I just got a text from one of the daycare owners with a list of preschool supplies to buy... one of the things on the list was crayons... did you buy your pre-school child regular crayons or those "Jumbo" ones?

They probably use the jumbo ones but I would just text the director back asking which type they would prefer.

They have/use both at DD's daycare. They usually throw all the crayons into a big bin and share.

Yes. For pre-k we had a supply list. We had to bring in regular sized crayons, but jumbo pencils.

IME, they start using the standard size crayons in Pre-K. They used the jumbo ones in nursery (3 yrs).

It is better to purchase regular crayons and golf size pencils (which I know no one uses ) so regular size pencils rather than jumbo size - it is better for fine motor strength and age appropriate grip development

Yes I was going to say they probably want regular crayons in pre K for this reason
