Gas Insert-Existing fireplaces

Has anyone done this recently? Can you give location recommendations to purchase insert? Did you hire your own plumber to run the gas line or use the one at the store? Pricing would be helpful as well. Thank you!

Re: Gas Insert-Existing fireplaces

We did this about 3 years ago. We went through Sleepy Hollow in Deer Park because we live in the area and because of their reputation. We went with a Mendota insert because of all the features, reliability and how realistic it looks. We did use a plumber to run the gas line as well. If you have any questions please PM me. It was about $4500 including installation.
