Stockings/tights with a formal dress
I have a wedding this Friday night. It's fairly formal (not black tie). I'm wearing a knee length dress. My legs are so white and I would love to wear stockings (also to suck me in a little too haha) but I know that's not really a thing anymore lol. Plus than I'd have to wear closed toe shoes.
I know another option is buying the tanning cream but its already Monday so not sure how effective it would be. Thoughts?

My advice:
Get the cream not the spray.
Apply it in natural light so you see that its even and everything is covered.
Wrap it around the bottom of your feet so you don't see lines of demarcation.
Do it before you put your dress on. Let it dry a good 5 minutes or so and then once it's completely dry, take an old dry towel and rub it lightly over your legs to pick up any excess.

I still wear stockings with dresses. My legs are not as nice anymore, I've got some small scars and the huge ones across both knees.
Hanes Silk Reflections in Barely There is my go-to color, or Jet if I want a sheer black.

Yes! I love this! Even if I'm tanned, it makes my legs looks so much better and uniform. Great tips for the future! Thanks! I have always used the spray.

Yes! It truly covers EVERYTHING. Scars, spider veins, hair follicles, cellulite, everything.
When I would self tan my legs it would just sink into my hair follicles and make them stand out more. All the flaws were kind of highlighted. This stuff just hides it. It's my can't live without item.

Honestly, I'd just wear the damn stockings.
I like the Sally Hansen stuff but find it rubs/sweats off. If the dress is a very dark color you'll be fine. Just make sure no one spills a drink near your legs or you'll streak!

I had the same issue until I figured out the dry towel trick. Once it's dry if you wipe off the excess with an old towel and then it's pretty transfer resistant.
I also have to scrub it off in the shower with a washcloth, it is pretty waterproof for me, even in the pool.

Don't laugh, you can put a layer of light hairspray over the sally Hansen cream to prevent runoff. My sister does it...totally works

Update: I used the Sally Hansen and LOVED it! It didn't run at all and I think it looked very natural. I had the makeup girl in CVS help me pick the right color. I even used it the other day at work when I wore capris because Im so white and I do have some spider veins. Thank u again for the rec!
