DOE teachers - Retro check
This next check (10/15) we are supposed to be getting a "big" retro.
I have only been an employee since 2015, but I am apparently getting "something".
I cannot get into payroll portal. Does anyone have any idea how much us "sort-of-newbies" can expect?

I started in 2014, left in june 2016 for a LI job, and returned back to the DOE 6 months later (in Jan 2017). I gave up all of my retro that I accrued from 2014-2016, but i still get retro fro 2017 to now. I got about $575
You should probably expect around $1500-2000

you should be able to log on after 12pm today. they close it out in the mornings until noon

I cannot log on AT all... been having trouble getting on since June. The Help desk is not helping either. I can get into my DOE email, but not onto the portal. Its a pain in the neck

you're probably typing it in wrong then. You need your emp. id or file number to log in, and your PW is the same as your email PW. If it isn't working, it could be your browser- try a different browser and see if that helps

does your last name on the doe email match your last name on file?
Sounds silly but I couldn't log on for a long time because my name with the doe was jane doe but my email used my maiden name so it was jsmith@nyc etc.
They needed to issue me a new email that matched.

I got divorced and changed my name back and that’s when the problems started.
Anywho,.. my payroll secretary printed out my statement and I’m looking at an extra $500 take home which is nice.
