Does anyone have any good ideas for a classroom snack? I signed up expecting they tell me what to bring but I got an email from the class mom asking me what I was sending. Help.....

Are there any rules you need to follow? Is it supposed to be healthy or can it be anything? Any allergies to worry about?

Snack for school holiday party
I mean my initial thought would be cookies but that doesn’t always fly in schools. I saw a cute thing with banana slices and strawberry slices placed in a candy cane shape.

Are there any allergies in the class?
Can you send good delicious stuff or do you have to stick to gross healthy shit that no kid wants to eat?

My son's teacher suggested munchkins or mini cupcakes. I will probably get the mini cupcakes. Can you do that?

Snack for school holiday party
I usually do a sweet of some sort- cookies, cupcakes, etc. Most of the parents seem fairly normal in terms of occasional junk.

I was just gonna say Rice Krispie treats- what do people use to make them red and green- a few fruity pebbles?

Re: Snack for school holiday party
There are no baked goods, no peanuts/nuts, prefer healthy.
It’s for 2nd grade.

Snack for school holiday party
I bought cups of pears and drew snowman faces on them for DS holiday party last year.
At our school we can only do cupcakes or fruit for snacks. They feel a cupcake is the easiest to replicate if a child has an allergy.
