What to wear to work holiday party
I have been looking for something to wear to my office holiday party but am stumped. I don't really want to wear a dress or skirt unless I can wear tights and booties. I hate being bare legged when it's freezing cold out. Any suggestions? Places to shop etc...

Depends on the venue and how formal it is?
I usually wear skinny black jeans with some sort of sparkly top, heels, sparkly jewelry etc Get my hair blown out, red lipstick more cleavage

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
Thank you!
It's at a pretty formal catering/wedding hall on the North Shore. That's why I'm questioing what I ussually wear which is skinny black pants and some kind of fancier shirt.

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
Here is the top. If you feel pants aren't dressy enough, a black pencil skirt would look great with it too.

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
I am wearing a pink flowy skirt (like this) with a fitted black ribbed sweater and black tights and booties to a party at a catering hall tonight
Sort of this look, but skirt is a little longer and a more sophisticated top (sweater) with a pretty statement necklace

I love this shirt! I may have to look for it. Did you buy online or in the store?

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
I'm wearing black skinny pants with a burgundy lace blouse, burgundy camisole underneath. Deciding between heels and dressy pointy toe flats, all depends upon how my knees feel tomorrow. Even with the knee replacements, they still get achy when the weather turns colder. I'm hoping for heels tomorrow.

online and I got it on Black Friday for like $17.99 after the sale. But even without the sale it's still cheap- $24.99 Comes in black too. Here is the link:

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
I'd wear a dress (black, but not overly fancy), tights and booties. Comfy shoes are important because you'll be standing a lot.
This year I'm wearing a cold shoulder black dress. It's nice enough to wear to a cocktail party, but not dressy enough for a wedding.

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
I’d do black pants and a sequin or sparkly tank top

Re: What to wear to work holiday party
I got this dress on Amazon for my company’s party (in blue) - it was $20 but definitely doesn’t look like it was $20...I’m really happy with it. Fits true to size, it’s very flattering, comes in a bunch of colors and I dig the sleeves. I hate long sleeve dresses (I get too hot in them) and don’t like my whole arm showing.
Amazon for the win

So pretty and fun! But I feel like it would be short on me. (Like 80% of all dresses I love!)
