Birthday Party Places for 6 Year Old Girl
Any suggestions for a birthday place for a 6 year old that won't break the bank for 30 people? Not into bouncy or Nunleys - we've done plaster crafts, gymnastics and dancing @ Celebrations in Bellmore (although open to a different kind of place - my girl loves to boogie).
I can't bring myself to spend $2K on a bday party but everything I price out for more than 12 kids is insane!
Looking for Nassau County.
Thank you!

I thought about that. I feel like at bowling the kids only interact with the ones in their lane. Maybe I'm over thinking it though...

We're doing Party Peeps in East Meadow. You can have 25 kids and the price is reasonable.

30 kids is a lot and I would think would be expensive. We’ve done Ben and Jerry’s which is awesome, but for like 12 kids. Try your local location. They did the dye tee shirts and got a tour of the place. Also Lush does private parties, like make your own bath bomb or face mask. It’s IS expensive BUT the party is free and the cost you pay is given back to you as a gift card!

Yes but it's like 80 degrees inside Sat T Swims pool area, no joke. We have gone in the dead of winter and been fine

What kind of party is at Party Peeps? My daughter is turning 10 in February, is she too old?

The main number usually forwards to their cell phones. You can try Dana at 516-603-6988 as she handles booking all the parties, or email [email protected]. They should get back to you. They were prompt with me.

There's a DJ/MC and games. You can choose a theme and add-ons. For a 10-year old you can do a Karaoke party, Blacklight dance party or a Zumba dance party. They're pretty open to customizing to your needs, so it doesn't hurt to call them.

Re: Birthday Party Places for 6 Year Old Girl
Cooking? I know my nieces have done parties at Celebrations in Hicksville and Kitchentime in Massapequa. Chocolate Works in Bellmore also does parties.
I know you said you've done plaster crafts, but I know at Cool Crafts in Wantagh, they paint/do the craft, and then can have a dance party component.
If she's into art, then there are places that do paint parties (on canvas) or there's a spin art place I've heard of in Massapequa.
Manny's Sweet Shop in Mineola does all the fun, crazy shakes, and I know my friend with daughters have gone to parties there (or even at International Delight Cafe).
Maybe the kids are too young, but ice skating or roller skating is always popular with my DS and friends, both boys and girls But it definitely started more in second grade... now they are in 4th. Skate parties are easy with a large group.
I agree that the bowling and movies are probably most economical for a large group (esp movies). Bellmore movies is always good for a party and very affordable.

Re: Birthday Party Places for 6 Year Old Girl
Thank you! She was super responsive and sent me all the info. Looks like a fun party. It's simlar to what I did last year @ Celebrations in Bellmore but I think I could find ways to make it different. Which package are you doing?

Re: Birthday Party Places for 6 Year Old Girl
Thank you for all these suggestions!!
WE've been in celebrations and kitchen time Both are super cute. Kitchen time is small though.
I'll check out Manny Sweet treats - I've heard of them. Thank for the suggestion.
Oddly enough my friend just told me about the spin art place in Massapequa. I'm definitely going to call them. Have you been there?
I didn't realize International Cafe does parties. I should check them out too (Although paying only cash is kinda a pain...)
Thanks again!

Michaels craft store
they can't accommodate that many kids. I tried max is like 10 kids
we average about 25 kids every party. We have had 2 at pump it up, we California pizza kitchen one year, bowling one year and this year we are doing gymnastics. The gymnastics one will probably be the one that cost the most money!
Movies would be a good option.

Bowling is fun.
I saw on your last thread that you wanted an ice cream party. Why don’t you just do it at home? Get a few tubs and lots of toppings and whipped cream and cherries. Then have a few games or activities planned. Goody bags and you are done!
