Pizza ideas

Anyone have a unique pizza idea? We got the uuni pizza oven for Christmas and can't wait to use it! Our favorites currently are goat cheese, fig jam and carmelized onion or BBQ chicken or pork with spicy BBQ, cheese, and pickled red onion.

Well, my SO’s special dish is his pizza and it’s pretty good. The sauce goes on the crust (duh!) then it’s topped with eggplant, onions, and other veggies of choice. Then he puts some garlic on it and bacon (uncooked, although, I’d suggest making it and then crumbling it when the pizza is done).

Oh and he puts fresh mozzarella and feta on the pizza.

You can also do a four cheese pizza. They are really popular here as well.

that's the wood pellet fired oven right?
We have it- it's sooo cool.

Just know it's a learning curve on cooking in it.
It cooks SUPER fast so you have to be quick and remember to turn it so it doesn't burn on one side.

DH has gotten pretty good with it- but it took a few tries to perfect the technique.

I am a pretty basic purist when it comes to pizza though- so I can't help with ideas. I just love a nice margarita from there- fresh mozz, fresh basil from my garden and a nice light tomato sauce.

This Potato Leek and Bacon Pizza recipe that I have on my blog is SOOOOOOOOO good!! One of the BEST pizzas I ever made and ate, we LOVED it!!

Caramelized onion, ham & gruyere. Spinoccoli pizza with a bechamel sauce. So yummy.
