Europe Recommendations with Kids
Want to plan a trip to Europe for August with our two kids 8 & 10. We have done Ireland and Paris as a family and I've done Italy alone. Any recommendations?

Barcelona. Very easy to navigate. Beach area. Lots of incredible architecture. Great climate and food

Re: Europe Recommendations with Kids
We have done Ireland and Paris as well with our kids (8 & 10) in the past. Just last year we did England. We went to Liverpool then down to the southern coast and then up to London. We had a great trip.
In August, you can tour the inside of Buckingham Palace but you have to get tickets early. My kids really enjoyed the Buckingham Palace tour. They had kid versions of the adult tours.
Good luck with planning! We are thinking of Spain as our next family trip but they will be 10 & 12 then.

Re: Europe Recommendations with Kids
Well, I‘m going to suggest Munich, my city, lol.
There are a lot of fun things to do in August. There‘s a nice technical museum which is good for kids, and the English Garden is great to walk around in and let the kids run around. You can go down by the Isar and have a picnic (I have a great spot if you want to know). The kids can dip their feet inside, but I would suggest not letting them go in fully. You can also do sidetrips to a lake south, where you can swim. There is also a toy museum and the markets are great. A beer hall is a lot of fun and very kid friendly. It‘s all really kid friendly here. Bike riding is popular as is watching the surfers in the river. The main square is also very nice looking and there is a fun chime that people get a kick out of.
London is great because the kids will be so tired from all the activities that they will just conk out at night.
However, in August a lot of things will be closed. It seems all of Europe shuts down in August. It will be really hot, too. Just something to keep in mind.
If you decide on any of those locations, let me know! I‘ll be glad to help with recommendations.
