Bronx Zoo
Are there any discounts or way of borrowing passes to the Bronx zoo? I checked my local library and they don’t have a pass to borrow. I’d love to take my kids but it would cost over $100??

I don’t know if this is an option, but Wednesday’s is free admission.

If you plan to go more than once just buy the season pass. We do and we split it with a friend so we get 3 adults and 6 kids covered every time we go.

We do the annual pass and make sure to go a couple of times.
I wouldn’t go on Wednesday’s - it’s insane and you still have to pay for certain exhibits - which are the better ones IMO.

My library offers discounted tickets for the Bronx Zoo, but they dont start selling them until the spring time. When do you plan on going?

When we buy the membership we wait until the beginning of August so we'll get admission through the following July. Definitely worth it to get two summers out of it.

I split my pass with my gf. One day for us pays for the pass so it's worth it. I go all the time. I have lent my pass out once and my gf was able to use it. They usually only ask for ID when parking.

My husband took DS on a Weds when school was in and said it was chaos. Field trips, little kids, people who don’t like to pay money...
