Bug or no bug?
Has anyone had a stomach bug that was gone in under 4 hours? DD woke up this morning (after being at an indoor water park all evening last night), and was slow to get going but nothing that seemed more than just having an off day. Around 9:00 she got sick and got sick again 2 more times between 10 and 11. Around noon she took a 40 minute nap and woke up like nothing happened. She never had a fever or any lower issues. Just vomiting and tired and then snapped out of it. A few people on my town Facebook page said their kids had it on and off for a bit. But I couldn't find anyone who indicated it came and went that fast.

Bug or no bug?
It happens. Could have been something she ate

Re: Bug or no bug?
Sounds like something she ate upset her stomach rather than a bug

Bug or no bug?
My oldest has had that multiple times. Sometimes she ends up with a fever or strep or a random virus a day or so later and sometimes it's nothing.
My youngest had a fever this week that lasted one night. Sore throat the next day. Brief stomach ache and looked really pale another morning. Then pink eye one morning but almost clear by the time we saw the doctor at 11am. Next day it was bad in the othe eye and she has congestion. It was ridiculous talking to the doctor as every symptom she asked about she'd had but only briefly.

Re: Bug or no bug?
It’s going around: DD was sent home from school with a stomach ache, was off all day, had a fever, but never threw up.
2-3 days later, DS had it and was off in the AM, started vomiting at 1, was fine and hungry at 6PM.
I probably had it, but was only nauseous for a solid day (same day DS had it).
At a swim class we go to, a mom said all 4 of her kids had it and it was not bad in 3, but the 4th was almost in hospital.

Bug or no bug?
Yes a few weeks ago it hit my house but it was quick. My daughter got sick at 730am, then again an hour later. She took a nap and was fine by dinner, drinking chocolate milk eating normal food. Then my older son got it at 3am he was fine by noon. No fever just threw up and was ok. It was nice and quick. I even got it but it lingered in me.

We all had it too and it manifested itself differently - the vomiting didn’t last too long but it took me a couple of days to get back to normal. The kids were good within hours after some sleep.
