Re: Super Bowl

I can take it or leave it. Our friend’s invited us over so we are going to hang there. I like the commercials and watching the pools I’m in. And the snacks.

And Kitten Bowl. I attended that once and it was the BEES KNEES. That was the best part of the Super Bowl in the history of my life.

I don’t follow football. We don’t generally go to, or host Super Bowl parties. In the past we have had just immediate family over since DH birthday is always the weekend of but we retired that and just stay home now...

I am not into it at all but this is the first weekend where we are actually just relaxing at home so I got excited to actually use the kitchen. Just making a bunch of apps to munch on. Dh isnt really into either team playing.

Re: Super Bowl

I don't like football at all. DH and DS do. We are invited to a party and we are going, and I will enjoy my wine and food. I'd prefer to stay home watching Netflix, though.

Re: Super Bowl

DH is at the bar with his buddies.
I hurt something in my knee, so I am in my pj''s icing my leg and watching the game. Curious how my pool numbers will pan out.

Re: Super Bowl

It was such a boring game.
I switched if off after the halftime show, also not the greatest.
Could have done without Travis Scott and most of his performance bleeped out. And the controversy is because Adam Levine took his shirt off. Chat Icon

I usually don't mind it- I go for the drinks and food. But this year I'm pregnant and just getting over the flu. I watched exactly ZERO seconds of it. DH didn't go out for it either. I heard it was a snoozefest anyway.

All i watched was halftime and I absolutely agree with you! Travis Scott’s performance was horrendous as far as the song choice, why pick a song that’s literally bleeped?!? I certainly didn’t mind Adam taking his shirt off Chat Icon

When I was younger (AKA pre-kids), we always watched it, usually went to a bar, etc.

Post-kids, SuperBowl = time for bath and bed! School night. I don't care if football is on, I have to be up at 5am tomorrow!

That's my feeling too.

If they want people to be able to really enjoy it- do it on a Saturday.

I'm just so glad it's over and I don't have to hear about it anymore

Re: Super Bowl

SO is a big football fan. i've been watching a bit of football because of him, but i'm not really a fan.

the game was boring. the halftime show was boring. we turned it off in the third quarter.

usually, i like super bowl parties just for the party part of it.

being on the west coast makes it less horrible.
