Is this a good kitchen quote?

We are keeping our current flooring, keeping our appliances (except for a new built-in microwave and built-in wine fridge in the bar area), and not moving around any gas lines or plumbing.

The quote is 27k and includes:
-removal of existing cabinets, soffits, ceiling, backsplash, etc
- installing 3 to 6 high hats in the ceiling and 1 high hat above the window.
- Creating a half-wall between the dining room and kitchen, and adding a counter in the half-wall opening for bar seating
- Installing a new light fixture (pendant lighting-no more than $150) in the wall opening for island
- backsplash (no more than $7/sqft)
- quartz counter and undermount sink

Materials not included: microwave and wine fridge, faucets

I included the pictures of the kitchen sketch. The cabinets look brown in the photo, but they're not. The kitchen cabinets will be the Fabuwood Galaxy Frost Series Cabinets. The photo doesn't show the wall opening/bar seating area. It's an L-shaped kitchen, so one image is the back wall (includes the range, dishwasher, sink, etc.) and then the side part of the L-shaped kitchen is a bar area with the fridge and pantry on that side.

Seems to be the right ballpark.
Is the sink bigger than shown? What’s inside the cabinets, any rolling draws? What about knob/pulls? Does the counter go across the wine fridge?

Seems reasonable, although I know nothing about pricing for those brand of cabinets. Agree about comment about counter top going over wine fridge.

Hi. This is so pretty. May I please add to maybe think about some slide out drawers instead of all of the cabinets that open. Great for pots. And did you think of hidden garbage /recycling pail for close to sink and dishwasher? Another convenient thing to have.

these are great ideas. Yes, the counter will go over the wine fridge, and I will double check about the sink. Im also going to ask about slide out drawers and the garbage/recycling drawer. Thank you!

The price of the cabinets are seperate?

Do you get to pick the quartz counter?

Do you get to pick the edging?

Will they install or will a quartz fabricator install the counters?

How will the sinks be attached to the counters? Clips, glue? Do not let them use quartz remnant clips.

What about flooring?

What about lights beyond high hats?

Are they moving light switches?

Are you installing an insinkerator?

We just spent about $10k more than that. But we had all new appliances, new wood floor put down and refinished adjoining room and removed a wall adding a new beam. So with that, your price sounds about right. All of my cabinets have pull outs

Did you already purchase the microwave? Just asking because we didn’t use ours that we got with our set and I’m selling it on Let go!

The best way to know if it's a good price is to get at least 2-4 more estimates.

In Fabuwood you have 1/2 and 3/4 boxes you should check to see what you are being offered. From what you are describing seems to be on the higher side.

The best way is to get a different quotes for the same brand cabinets. Cabinet prices vary and reflects different price quotes with companies. I got a bunch of quotes and learned that after doing so. You may have already done that anyway.
