anyone else have a terrible experience with saline sono?
did anyone else have a horrible experience with this?
I have done so many procedures throughout this journey. the HSG was no big thing at all. Colposcope with biopsy, fine, Even a c-section lol
This morning i went to have this done - they were having trouble with it working and they had to use a balloon catheter. Did this happen to anyone else? anything i'm looking up seems to bet that it is a no big deal procedure at all.
When it was all done - he said that the scans looked fine, no blockage?
Im not sure if the balloon catheter had anything to do with it, but it was awful, the pain and cramping was terrible, i CRIED!!! i'm not like that a all- it still hurts hours later - and i'm still bleeding from it?
Im just paranoid that something is wrong and wanted t hear if anyone else had an experience like this

I had a saline sono and they did not use a ballon catheter, either time. I had cramping a bit. Hsg was horrible when I had it done.
Pain and bleeding is normal on day of.

Aww I'm sorry. My saline Sonos have been fine but my hsg was pure torture.

That was my experience. Worse cramps I ever had from the HSG...until, of course, actual labor!

Saline sono was fine, but the HSG was pure torture! Especially with a blocked tube! Tears!!!

Me too!
Out of all my tests this one killed me
I hated every second of it and I can handle pain...this I wanted to die on the table (this was years ago...)

No Balloon, but man I was a massive wreck after. I am a trooper when it comes to pain so for me it was a big deal. Bled and cramped a lot. I'll never forget, March 18th 2011

I had it twice.
First time with a female Dr, was fine. No pain at all and she was showing me as she filled the uterus my tubes and all. Slightly crampy after.
Second time was with a male and he seemed rushed. No staff in the room with him, he hurt me and I cried! I have no idea what he did in there but seemed flustered. I bled and even got an infection after.
Doctor technique and the timing of your cycle is very important with saline Sonos!
