calling the dr when they open, but...
i'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
i got my menstrual cycle like usual a couple of weeks ago. it went longer than usual. i'll be 46 at the end of the month, so i know changes are a-comin'.
but
since my cycle ended, i'm still very bloated and feel "heavy" in my lower tummy. last night, it became a bit painful.
i haven't eaten since dinner (630pm) and my entire abdomen is bloated as if i just had a large meal.
just want to commiserate what i'm feeling until i get into the dr's office.

Maybe a fibroid? Do you have a history of them?

That could cause it as well. Definitely see your doctor

Did you go to the dr? How are you feeling?
I get cysts often (I have stage 4 endometriosis) and for me a cyst is more of a burning stabbing throbbing pain I have a small fibroid and would never have known if my last scan didn’t show it...

It could just be a random thing. Maybe it’s a change in diet and it has nothing to do with your menstruation at all. Definitely a good idea to go get checked - won’t hurt to do so. And maybe just put your mind at ease.
