Ford Explorer
Does anyone have one with captain seats? How many kids do you have in car seats? Do you like the car? What year?

I have a 2018 with captain's chairs. I have two kids and their car seats are in the captain's chairs.
When I do drive other kids, they will sit in the third row in a booster seat.
I do like the car very much but it is terrible on gas. Also, the space between the front row and the captain's chairs is very tight. If the driver is tall, the person sitting behind them will have very minimal leg room.

I am on my 3rd Explorer. This current one 2017 sport is with captain seats and I love it. I have 2 kids. The captain seats allow us to use the 3rd row.. I sit all the way back and my kids have leg room.

Horrible on gas. All SUVs are but the explorer is exceptionally bad.
The ford sync system is amazing though.
