There is a rooftop restaurant on top of the Renaissance hotel right across from the entrance of Penn.
Used to be Rock n Riellys. New name now, forget what it is.
Super close to MSG

Yes. I found it. I even made a reservation on open table. Menu looks diverse and accommodating for everyone. Thanks again.

I've never stayed there but it looks so nice.
We sometimes have company events at the rooftop place- Versa- and we put people who come in from out of town for them up there.
