Re: 13 reasons why

I started it and am a few episodes in. I find myself easily distracted while watching but will try to get through it eventually.

I hated it. I found it hard to have ANY sympathy for Bryce and was annoyed that they tried to humanize him.

I also think they just went too over the top on all the drama/issues. It was like they tried to cram every teen issue into 13 episodes. Too much. Loved season 1 and 2...but think it jumped the shark here.

Ohhhhhh! I totally and respectively disagree
I loved this season and season 1 but this season I had to finish to find out who did it
And
I really felt bad for Bryce at the end
The letter he wrote to his mom was heartbreaking
Of course it doesn’t excuse ANY of his behavior but I did feel bad for him
Now Monty on the other hand I actually had zero sympathy for him
The actor that plays Tyler was incredible
That scene he did with Clay telling him what happened had me in tears!

Similar feelings here. I was a bit distracted watching the first episodes, but then I couldn't stop until the ends. Tyler's scenes made me cry. Bryce's behavior was inexcusable but I could understand more and made me think as a parent. I was annoyed at Ani's actions in the middle of the season, but it was interesting how all the characters developed.

I agree about the Tyler scene. I was watching the show on the LIRR and had tears rolling down my face. Horrifying.

I agree that they really packed in a LOT of teen drama though. You share a room with Justin and don't realize he is shooting and smoking heroin? Seems crazy to me.
