I came back from lunch, saw this and thought DAMN, that was some serious drama that I missed in just one hour.
Then I was like SMH because this site is dying and it would take a month for a post to reach 6 pages.
To the troll who posted on an 8 year old thread, if you couldn't afford the admission ticket, why did you go ?

I worked many fund raisers and never did we expect the winner to give their .5 back

50/50 Raffle at Charity Event - Keep or give back?
it really depends... I've won a 50/50 at an event my family member was being honored at but I gave it all back to them only because it was for a catholic-run drug and alcohol rehab that my family member went to many years ago and now works for as a counselor. I felt it would be so wrong to keep it in that instance.
I have also won the 50/50 at a block party, and I definitely kept that even though my neighbor won the year before and gave it back to the block party fund. IMO, that's not a worthy enough cause lol we don't spend that much to have a block party each year as it is lol
