Car rental week of Christmas in Florida
I usually get a rental under $150 for the week and for fiive days I am getting around $650. Is there any tips on getting a reasonable rental rate?

Car rental week of Christmas in Florida
I either rent through Costco or check Dollar City Specials. Prices fluctuate even during the same day but since Christmas is next week I wouldn’t anticipate to move much.

Definitely use Autoslash. However Christmas and week between Christmas and New Years is usually stupid busy in Florida. Everything price wise is jacked that week. I avoid Orlando like the plague that week.

I'm down there all the time renting but come to think of it, it's been a while since I did on Christmas week. Wasn't prepared for the $$. I only finalized my flight plans so that is why I waited. I'm thinking if I am better having my family pick me up and finding a rental place near them.

I find Costco has the best deals on rental cars. Plus you can cancel and re-book if you look again later and the price drops.

You go to Dollar website and put destination and dates. You will see something up top to click that says city specials. New prices always come up, but for me they aren't any cheaper for that week.
