Maybe hemorrhoids but not sure - who can diagnose
Should I go to a GI or find a primary?
I don’t know if many primaries even do a rectal any more ?

When I was dealing with mine, I think my OB/GYN was involved at first. Then they referred me to someone else (not sure what type of dr). I ended up having to surgery, but it was by someone in the cancer center.
I would think start with a primary.

Proctologist is the kind of dr you would look for, but loop in your primary so they know what is going on.

Seems like you don't have a primary? If so just go straight to a proctologist.
I prefer to go to specialists from the start. Saves time

Yes. No primary, going to get a new one in feb
Yes very odd, no blood but feels like something is coming out, but nothing is out as far as I can tell ( Sorry TMI)
It’s soo embarrassing honestly..

Look with a mirror and see if you see a little lump or skin tag looking thing
What are the symptoms that makes you think that’s what it is? I actually got my first one a couple months ago. I felt burning when I had a BM and then felt something there. Looked with the mirror and it just looked like a skin tag. Used witch hazel and bought some PrepH. It took about 6-8 weeks to finally go away but it did. Too much straining when trying to have a BM, sitting for long periods of time, hard stool - all can cause them
If you don’t have to get a referral for a specialists, then go straight to one. Proctologist or GI can help you.

I’ve never had this problem but I absolutely love my colon dr and I know he deals with hemorrhoids. Soooooo if you do need a recommendation for a colon dr his name is Jules Garbus and is in Garden City. He’s my favorite dr!

Went to GI , nothing in rectal exam
Symptoms have also gone away
Recommends getting a colonoscopy, as I am above 40
Thinking about it
