What's the secret to cleaning windows streak free?
Sitting in my living room when the sun hits a certain way and my bay window is horrifying. Looks like rain stains and just general dirtiness all over it.
I went out there with windex and a paper towel. It looked great....until I came inside and saw all the streaks.
I can't seem to get it streak free.
What's the trick?
Use vinegar instead? Wipe with something else?

Def not paper towels! Use newspaper instead and I use a mixture of water, vinegar and EO

What's the secret to cleaning windows streak free?
I use Sprayway Foaming Glass cleaner & a paper towel. Never had any streak troubles.

What's the secret to cleaning windows streak free?
This is bane of my existence, so I found and follow the Bob Villa method. I take one of those sponge clothes and get it wet with water and Dawn dish soap and wipe window. Then spray window with mixture of water and vinegar and use the 2 dollar squeegee from Ikea working down. Use a microfiber clothe after to get any drips. It’s a process. But it works!

Also don’t clean them when the sun it’s hitting them. They dry to fast and you are forever chasing streaks. Do it once the sun has gone by that part of the house. You’ll thank me

Definitely newspaper and windex. Growing up that’s how we cleaned our mirrors and windows. My DH thought I was a weirdo when he first saw me do it.

I use the Windex thing you attach to the hose and I have never had streaks.

A damp microfiber cloth (warm water and drop of Dawn), squeegee and dry microfiber cloth.

Ugh -we have a half circle window above our four normal sized casement windows so it’s pretty high up. I can’t reach it and I’m too chicken shit to go on a ladder
It’s so gross. Inside and out.
