Spending
I’m a coupon clipper but I’ve been doing peapod orders instead of going to the supermarket so I haven’t bern able to use any of my coupons. It pisses me off that I can’t save money that way.

Re: Spending
Spending less... except for food. Yikes! WE get delivery so prices are up, but what can you do.
Funny thing is our infiniti was up right before this all happened and were looking for another car so now we don't have any car expenses. LOL We have DH's Ford and his work van so not too worried. But miss having my own car.
I am getting great sales for clothes too! Man I miss my Target runs. LOL

Re: Spending
i might be spending more
we get take out a lot!! i have not motivation to be cooking.
I work all day from home and trying to get kids school work done after I am off of work.
My DH works out of the house.
So between buying shit on amazon and food i either am spending the same or more.

Spending
I think overall I am spending less. I used to go out to eat all the time - -probably 4-5 nights a week, at the very least. Obviously I am not doing that now and it is a lot cheaper to eat at home.
But, I am doing a lot of online shopping - which I always did. I am trying to keep it "reasonable" but so far I have bought a few things for the house, at least 7 pairs of shoes, and a bunch of clothes. Not really sure if I've spent more or less online shopping than I would have in "normal" times

Spending
our main purchases have been groceries and my dad's medicine. I aim to go grocery shopping as infrequently as possible...so far that means every 9-15 days. I've averaged 350-500 for each grocery trip :/ In the past I hemmed and hawed in stores looking for sales, now I try to get in and get out without looking at the price..just get what I need

Probably more since I've been ordering on Amazon and we still get take out. The grocery stores aren't having sales AT ALL, so everything is jacked up there.
I just was thinking about that and saying yeah it's weird that the stores don't have sales anymore. But DH just texted me that he stopped at Stop n Shop for a few items he needs for dinner and asked if i needed anything. I said crackers and he took a picture of what they had and texted it to me so i could pick, lol, and all the crackers were on sale with the sale tags on the shelves! So maybe the grocery store sales are returning

Re: Spending
Overall spending is down. But spending more on food bc it’s harder to shop sales & I'm more concerned with getting what we need. Still getting gas every week because we take drives. Otherwise the usual bills are still coming of course, but not browsing stores or doing any activities has saved us money.

Spending
I’d say down. I’m busier than ever since DH and I are both essential but now the kids are home 24/7 and needing “homeschooling”. I don’t have the time to browse the internet to shop and I’m too stressed to buy for fun. We aren’t going out to eat and only get take out here and there.

Ours will be about half of what it normally is but I am SHOCKED on how much I have spent on food and we have rarely done takeout. Also, all of my cash expenses (babysitters, tutors, housekeepers) are down to zero so I don't think my husband or I have hit an ATM in well over a month.
Same here about the food spending. Our weekly grocery trips have gone up $100-$150 and I'm not really sure why. We're not buying anything more than we usually do. Not sure if the stores aren't doing sales during this time...I guess I have to pay more attention at the register.
I find that with limited items in the stores I am buying different brands, or items and that are more expensive as alternates to what I would normally buy. Also definitely a lack of sales.

Re: Spending
I closely track our spending on a regular basis. Definitely down on gas and up on food. Spending has been similar because we have been ordering out a decent amount. It's offset by lack of spending on anything else (target, etc).
Had to buy my daughter a computer and we got her a bike. Other than that no big spending.

But how cheap is gas right now right? Crazy!
