Pollen!
I washed my black car this afternoon because it was filthy. Covered in pollen. Hadn't been washed since February at the car wash. Spent hours on it. Went out to it just now...COVERED in pollen. It's like I didn't wash it at all. For some reason this yellow pollen that's all over now doesn't bother my allergies. (Everything else does right into late Fall). But holy shit...not a good time to have a black car. Arghhhhhhh!

Re: Pollen!
Yes, tree pollen has been very high lately. I suffer from allergies but this year I've only had headaches, that I'm guessing are due to allergies, but nothing else.

Re: Pollen!
Lucky u! DS1’s allergies started and it’s bad! Lots and lots of sneezing and if I don’t wash his face and hands throughly when he comes inside, it’ll develop quickly into super watery, red eyes, and swollen eyelids . And it seems that DS2 is starting to have seasonal allergy as well cause he’s been sneezing, so far that’s the only symptom for him though.

Re: Pollen!
My allergy symptoms are horrendous from late summer until the frost. I think I'm more of a grass/ragweed and mold allergy than this stuff But I literally feel it coating my skin and in my throat if I'm outside too long right now. It's terrible!

Is tree pollen the main allergy culprit during this time? I’m suspecting that’s what my DS is allergic to. So far his allergies only last for a few weeks.

Trees and grass are the highest right now. If they only last a few weeks it’s probably trees.

Pollen!
It drives me crazy that it ends up all over the house, I guess it floats in thru open windows. I keep wiping everything down and then a little while later it looks dusty again.

I have to keep my windows closed because of this!
My car is the same...washed it last week, within hours, covered in pollen!
I haven't been outside since Thursday since I pinched a nerve and have been in pain. Sat outside yesterday for an hour, and man, last night was all stuffy and couldn't breath from the pollen!

Re: Pollen!
Ugh it's the worst. I saw an automatic car wash open 2 days ago, so I spent 12 bucks to go through, 2 hours later you could see all new pollen on my car. I mean it's only $12 so who cares, it's just annoying to have that dusty crap everywhere. Thank God for this rain. Hopefully it will start washing it away.
ETA: I was also just thinking about the black mulch we had put down last week. It looks like crap already because the pollen strands are all over it. Every year I tell myself to remember that for the following year. I should wait until the pollen is done to do the mulch.

Re: Pollen!
I can’t be outside for long. Especially with the wind. My throat hurts almost immediately Even DH, who never has allergy issues, moved the boat To our slip today and was outside for a few hours has the worst stuffy nose
I’m already taking Zyrtec at night and Flonase in the morning. I also take a 12 hr Claritin topper. And it’s STILL bothering me
