Making progress on my DD's room!
We are moving in with FIL next month. The room that Emily will be taking over had horrible old, ugly wood panelling. So last week we worked on priming and painting the panelling. We decided to paint the panelling because underneath tere was tons of damage done to the sheetrock from the glue used to attack the panelling back in like 1978!
We are also having new carpets put in this week so I'll have pics of that soon. One the carpet is in I can start setting everything up!

We will also be taking off the ugly ceiling fan pull cords that my MIL had made way back when!

It is Glidden paint, the color is "Citrin Ice."
I couldn't find another yellow color tht I liked as much! This will be her 2nd room in the same color -- her "baby room" was the same color in our apartment!

Yep! I definately couldn't keep them that dark color! I want the room to be bright and cheerful! Would you believe that EVERY room in my FIL's house has some sort of panelling in it?!?!?!
Slowly but surely we are going to have to do a LOT of work over there!

We ended up with a color that is just a bit darker then beige. I was worried that beige would show stains too easily.
I LOVED your carpet. Where did you get it from? It actually would have been perfect I think and I love the flecks of color but we were kinda in a rush and on a budget to get it.
ETA: I *think* this is the carpet that we chose. If not it's very similar.
