Re: Approved Medications During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Honestly, there are things on this list I would NOT feel comfortable taking because they are category C drugs and there are category B drugs available. Especially since there are alternatives to things like Allegra and Monistat. Please talk to your own doctor about any drug before taking something. You need to make informed decisions about what you personally are comfortable with.
It's a helpful list to be sure, I just think you should question any drug and its necessity before taking it.

I think people understand. It is a very well known unspoken rule on this board that things involving medications and food are based on your comfort level and your doctor's advice-KWIM?

I agree that MANY do understand - but you would be suprised at some of the things I heard from girls in my Lamaze class - people who were over 33 weeks preggo and they didn't know about avoiding. Again, no harm meant but I think it can always help to stress not to take ANYTHING without speaking to a dr. I wasn't attacking Hayley in any way - just putting it out there for even the ONE person who didn't know that even these lists can be disagreed on by different doctors......
I think LIF educates many women on pregnancy by a great sharing of opinions of all kinds, if we can help one lurker on even one day be a little more knowledgeable - I think it's awesome.
