Sunflower Cake!
Even with some set backs...least of all DH coming back with Purple Bunny Peeps (I did show him the picture before he left) here we go....I decided to use my pan with an indent and filled it with vanilla pudding

Just a note for everyone making this cake in the future... I made it yesterday AM. I iced it and put the peeps on about an hour after the cake came out of the oven. My cake had an avalanche. One side fell off right as we got there. I think it was TOO fresh for the weight. I should have made the cakes earlier or the night before.
It was HUGE hit though.

i had an avalanche too. i put the peeps the same way as bj. when i was cutting it the layers felt apart and the peeps caved into the center. does anyone know how to prevent the two layers from coming apart when you cut it?
