BB Cream RAVE!

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but, over the weekend I was in need of BB cream and I discovered Revlon's BB Cream called "Photo Ready." This stuff is awesome! My dry sensitive skin is nice and hydrated, I don't have to keep building the cream on my face to get a desired effect, and the best part? It doesn't smell!!!! So long Dr Jart+ BB cream! Hello Photo Ready!

BB Cream RAVE!

i bought this yesterday and used it today and I am in love with it. I loved Dr. Jart's when I got the sample with my birchbox but this is def. cheaper. The coverage is phenomenal. Thanks for posting about it!

Would this be good for oily skin and acne prone skin?

So glad you posted this, I'm going to try it. I bought the Garnier one when it came out and returned it after one use because I couldn't take the smell!

It might be a little too "dewy" for oily skin but a little goes a long way! I haven't had one pimple yet though!

Re: BB Cream RAVE!

Just wanted to post a huge THANKS for this recommendation! I have combination skin and I LOVE this stuff! I like it better than the MAC Foundation I have been using and it is like 1/3 of the price!!!

Re: BB Cream RAVE!

Just picked some up at Ulta since I'm always looking for the "next best thing"
Can't wait to try it.

Question- how do you guys apply it?
Fingers? Sponge? Brush?

I just use my fingers. I have used my pink beauty blender too. Both work well!

Re: BB Cream RAVE!

Just wanted to come back and say that I really really like it!
Great coverage.
Blends beautifully
I have tried SO many BB creams and foundations- from drugstore brands to $40 an ounce ones like Smashbox and Urban Decay.
Even tried the one everyone raves about- Skin 79 or something- and all the samples in the sample kit I bought were AWFUL on me.
the only one before this that worked at ALL on my horrible skin was the Garnier so I always went back to it.
Everything else just seemed to sink into my pores, lines and acne scars and make them even more visable.
This is great though. Excellent coverage for me.
Not too oily, not too dry.
It doesn't last all day on me- but nothing really does.
I don't mind though because I always bring make up to work with me and do a mid day touch up- so it's fine.
Thanks for the reccomendation!

Re: BB Cream RAVE!

What exactly ARE BB & CC creams? I wish the commercials explained! Do I need to start using these??? Are they like a moisturizer/foundation hybrid??

Yes- similar to a tinted moisturizer.
Light coverage- but really pefects the skin.
I love it because I feel like with bad skin- less is more- sometimes the heavy coverage only highlights the imperfections instead of blurring them.
Love this stuff.

Re: BB Cream RAVE!

I'm always skeptical about using any type of tinted cream or liquid foundation b/c I feel like it just settles into those little lines, esp between my eyebrows and around my mouth. How is this cream (or this type of cream) w/that issue? Maybe I'm just older than you girls! I don't have bad skin, but I do have a lot of redness from some mild rosacea. Currently use powder foundation but I'm always looking to try out new things that might make me look younger.

I don't have too many fine lines yet, but I do feel like this cream is AWESOME with my enlarged pores... All of my other foundations used to highlight them, but I feel like this cream really minimizes them. HTH!

Yes! This one and the Garnier one work great on me and I have tons of super large pores, a few acne scars and some fine lines around my mouth.
Like you said- most of the stuff just settles into them and accents them.
I love these BB creams (so far only this one and Garnier work like this for me) because they don't do that.
