On Tap: A New Brew For Your Brood

rsonally I like to unwind with a nice hot latter after a long day at work, but I may be one of a select few. In fact, most people may prefer a nice robust glass of wine or a nice cold beer.

And, now you may be able to kick back and enjoy a beer with your best friend. No, not the guy or gal that you’ve known “forever” but that special pooch you consider part of your family.

That’s right, a pet shop owner in the Southern Dutch town of Zelhem, created a brew for her favorite friends made from beef extract and malt.

This brew enthusiast who came up with the idea as a means of sharing a little R & R with her Weinmaraners after a long day of hunting, consigned a local brewery to make of bottle of the nonalcoholic malt branded as Kwispelbier (kwispel being a Dutch word for wagging your tail). It was officially introduced to the market this January and taughted as the “a beer for your best friend”.

And, according to its “creator”, the beer “is” fine for human consumption but is sold at $2.14 per bottle, a price greater than that of even your finer imported beers.
