When the going gets touch, the tough get going. And, apparently they may want to get going to the mall and some other retailers for some sensational bargains.
According to reports, many retailers are experiencing racks of winter merchandise such as coats, hats, gloves, and other cold-weather accessories and paraphernalia due to higher than average temperatures (close to 70 to be exact). And, that has spurred many a merchant to head into panic mode, many marking down season items by 50 percent.
Studies suggest that in retail circles, women tend to plan ahead and thus buy winter attire prior to the official winter season, and as early as September. Men on the other hand have a buy as you need it mentality leading which results in buying winter items as they need them, but so far, this year, it’s unlikely many men have “needed” them.
