We all complain about how difficult it is to make ends meet or to “keep up with the Joneses”, but one native Long Islander actually did something about his dismay.
Back in 1999, after suffering at the hands of the local economy and the politics associated with staying in business, one small businessman made a big, bold move and founded a website enabling disgruntled individuals to take a stand against white color crime, by founding an online consumer complaint site, which now boasts more than 800 reports per day.
The online site allows consumers to air their grievances and share their experiences with each other, warning against fraud and scam. And, he even goes as far as offering advice on how to deal with unsavory businesses and get your money back.
And while this dedicated “do-gooder” has been sued several times, his attorney attests that he has never lost a case. And, as far as making money is concerned, he says, it’s really not about that, it’s about helping hardworking families from losing their (their money that is).
