I recently read an excerpt from a news article that suggested that alternative medicine is on the cusp of going mainstream. And, while food should ideally be the purest primary source of bodily nutrients, many of us may not be getting enough. And, while there are varying opinions on the need and efficacy of supplements, taken as part of a healthy eating regimen and in conjunction with specifications and recommendations, they are, in most cases, a great addition to your daily diet.
But, as the debate rages, of “should you or shouldn’t you”, many parents may find themselves perplexed over the necessity for giving their kids vitamins. But according to recent research, the kiddies that are skipping the “vities” are the ones that need them the most. According to nutritionists and experts, most kids then to be picky eaters, and that means distaste for the foods and flavours that are healthiest for them. And, that makes daily supplementation “essential”. However, a daily multi, may not be necessary for every child. However, with more and more children recreating indoors, it’s likely many are missing once dynamic vitamin; vitamin D, and could likely use the extra insurance…about 400 IUIU daily. So, while there’s no definitive decision, for many kids the answer to daily multivitamins is “yes”.
