Have you ever just had “one of those days”? I think we all have. And, while it can start out as only ONE 23-hour period, sometimes, it seems like enough to frustrate us and get us down for days, if we let it.
According to experts, that’s exactly what many of us allow life and its circumstances to do. And, they add what that often translates to is a heart and spirit that are damaged, broken and perpetually shrinking, with less and less room or capacity for things that use to get it pumped.
And, that could be the first sign of “danger” according to experts, noting that what may make it worse is that the heart closes up a little bit at a time, so we may not even realize it’s happening before it’s too late.
Things to be aware of is increased anxiety, worries and concerns, especially about things that are generally not that big of a deal. And, say experts, take action immediately. Sure we all change and so do our wants, needs and likes, but not to a drastic degree. And, it’s these “subtle” but “drastic” changes we need to stay and be aware of. If we were always outgoing, but suddenly shy away from people, we should note a red flag.
But, don’t try to go at it alone. Look for others in the same boat and look to others for encouragement, accountability and inspiration. And look at those who’ve overcome more than you as motivation. Remember, say experts, if it was life’s events that caused you to lose interest, other life strategies and events, can turn it all around, if you just let it, regardless of age and how long you’re in the spot your in or how long it took you to get there.
