A honeymoon is a great getaway after months and months of planning and a nice retreat and transition for “singlehood” into married life.
And, this time away can place many a newlywed couples in a prime position for another trend making its way from Tinsel Town to mainstream.
It’s what’s known among the elite as a babymoon and it offers expectant couples one “last” opportunity to spend some quality time alone before the baby and some added responsibility comes along.
Keep in mind that once your bundle of joy arrives, initially there’s likely to be lots of diapers, late or sleepless nights and lots of staying local or at home.
With that said, some of the more popular retreats are in serene locations conducive to rest and relaxation with spas offering packages of pampering heading the top of the list. Plus, many establishments also offer packages that focus on dealing with rekindling romance while others focus on personal pampering (such as manicures, pedicures, massages, etc). And, all these luxurious locals offer moms an opportunity to look and feel and be treated like a princess, including showing off her beautiful bump (in some of the most popular pregnancy fashions).
