Wining and Dining your children, especially your girls has been noted as one of the most important daily events that helps youngsters build confidence, self esteem and a positive self image.
In recent surveys, young ladies proclaimed the importance of dining with their families daily. In fact, they “labeled” mealtime as the single most influential family dynamic in making them feel good about themselves with the family setting. Holiday meals were among the highest ranking family events as well. Girls perceive these “special” occasions as times allowing for conversation, food preparation and attending to younger siblings as exceptional bonding experiences giving them a sense of involvement, belonging, and comfort.
