Grooming

Can you guys/gals suggest a groomer for my cockapoo? I live in Levittown. My dog is a total hair ball. I took him to PetCo like 2 months ago and I didn't particularly feel satisfied. It get pretty expensive too they charged me like $55 and i felt like they could have done more.

I was once told I had to have Sammy at the groomer once a month to maintain the hair and keep him from matting. I'm even considering doing it myself.

What do think?

any breed mixed with poodle needs to be brushed regularly to prevent matting. I have been to PetSmart for my pups. I prefer the one in Huntington on rt 110. The price you quoted is not that bad, as that is what I pay for my Shiba Inu (no tangles or mattes in his fur).

Yeah his hair is crazy... I brush him every day too.

We go to Canine Couture with our dog and they are great-- in Bellmore on Petite Avenue (near the Bellmore train station).

I use the Barrie Inn in Woodmere. I know it is far from you, but they really do a great job.

Its kinda far but we go to k-9 bath house in Lindenhurst.
They dont crate the dogs which I love....

It was $45 and if you look somewhere at my pics..I have a hairy mixed dog who was done soooo well for that money.
