Yes. It's nauseating. Mainly because in the same breath of stating how 'long and hard the battle was for them', they can basically take every single opportunity to advertise their new status, and turn a blind eye to how they'd feel on the receivng end of it.

(sorry, not an IFer, but i've had people VERY close to me go through this... and eventhough their babies are born, and even a few years old, its just something that stays with them. So, i guess its hard for me to accept some of the ignorance i see )

I will never forget what I went thru! I can still remember how I felt back then and take nothing I have today for granted.

Even though I have not conceived yet I do think that sometimes about people who have graduated...nobody that has posted and nobody that particularly comes to mind right now...but I know I have seen it. So when I am finally blessed to get PG, I think it will always be at the forefront of my mind...never mind the first, I am already worrying about having the second!

mmmm...good question.

For me, I have only one friend who has gone thru this (outside of the boards). Dh and I were diagnosed with IF issues during her pregnancy, and I don't think she was sympathetic at all. Now that she has her son, even less. She never educated herself, and never went for treatment, but it did take her five years to get pg with her second.

All she says is that it will happen in G0d's time. I know that, but if you were to have said that to her, I'm sure she would have bit my head off!!

I cant imagine that someone that has gone through that much would forget it, or forget "where they came from".(and I have no idea nearly how much some of you have gone/are going through )
