Permanent Certification
I just graduated with my masters in Literacy. I have my provisional certification and I'm waiting for my results to my video. If I pass the video (which I really hope I did) then I can file for permanent certification. Can someone please tell me how I go about doing this?? My College was not really any help and I'm confused. I just want to do it the right way. Also I just found out I passed the CST in literacy and would like to file for Reading Cerrtification. Do I do this online also? Any help would be appreciated! TIA

Re: Permanent Certification
I'd call Boces the one on Deer Park Ave. There is a woman there whose last name is something like Mastrodominico ???. She always seemed to know the correct information. Good luck with the video..I dont think they even watch those damn tapes!

Re: Permanent Certification
What school did you go to? I went to CW Post and they were horrendous about helping us w/ certification. You will have to register online. This is the link I used. I would definitley call Boces though. I did the same as you, just got my masters in Literacy last summer.

Re: Permanent Certification
I used the on-line system too. I applied after I got my video results in August. I just recieved my cert about two weeks ago. If you do it on-line just make sure that you send in your transcripts and two year verification. They forget to tell you that you have to do that and I didn't find out until a couple of months later.
