Tae-Bo Part II!
So after gaining about 10 extra pounds since my wedding last year, I decided it was time to dust off my old TaeBo tapes and get moving on those again. I used to do the tapes every day before my wedding, but I got a little lazy, and once we got the puppy, I stopped working out altogether. My goal is to do the tapes at least 4 times a week now and hopefully tone up and get rid of that extra weight. I'm hoping with the kickboxing in addition to the 45 minute walk I take with Golem every night, that I can get back into shape. I have to say though, even though it's working out and all, I really love Tae-Bo! It's such a fun workout and I really get into it and get such a good workout in only 30 minutes! Last night was great - I came home from walking Golem, handed the puppy and dinner over to DH, worked my butt off for a half hour, sat down to a ready made dinner, then over to my sister's for dessert and coffee Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have had the two pieces of cake, but it was a treat! All in all it was a nice night, and I feel better about the fact that I'm exercising again. Just wanted to share, in case anyone is thinking about trying something new - Tae Bo is really awesome!!!

Re: Tae-Bo Part II!
I was thinking about giving it a try. Even though I mainly work out at the gym (because I need to build muscle more than anything), I like to do workout tapes at home occasionally to mix things up. I've been wanting to try Tae Bo for a while and was thinking about getting the new one (Boot Camp). Thanks for the reminder! (and good luck! )

Re: Tae-Bo Part II!
thanks Annie! I hope you do try it, it's definitly a change from the typical workout! I might actually have to upgrade my tapes pretty soon though - they are the old VHS and they're starting to show their age now! I didn't know there was a new one out though - maybe I'll pick that up on eBay in case my old tapes burn out!

Re: Tae-Bo Part II!
I used to take full contact kickboxzing and loved it when I found out Iwas prego I had to stop and I have no time to go back now since I had my daughter. Plus I can't expect someone to come over a few times a nite to watch her while I go.
Anyway I was thinking of getting the Tae Bo do they really work?

Yes, it seriously is the ONLY workout tapes I still own because it works so well -and even better, I can't get bored with it either! If you love kickboxing, then you should def. try TaeBo. When I first got the tapes years ago, I noticed a difference right away. Suddenly my legs and arms were much more toned and it was noticable to me after only a week.

Re: Tae-Bo Part II!
sure thing! I did another workout last night too, and I'm starting to recall that burninc muscle feeling again! BUT, it's almost bathing suit season, I have a wedding to go to in July AND I'm going on vacation at the end of August, so I'm using all that as my motivation
